JAEC annual Best Cited Paper Award

To acknowledge the authors’ continued support to the JAEC, we are pleased to announce the opening of JAEC Annual Best-Cited Paper Award for research and review articles of the JAEC. In introducing the JAEC best-cited paper award, we are offering an alternative to the journal award committee for selecting 'the best paper'. The only objective and transparent metric which is highly correlated with the quality of a paper is the quantity and quality of citations. We hope that the design of this annual best-cited paper award will assure fairness and equal opportunity for all authors published in JAEC. We hope that this award will stimulate the best minds to release their best work.

Purpose of the Award

The purpose of this award is to recognize the best-cited paper published in the past three years that attracts the most citations. The quantity and quality of citations of papers are based on data from ISI and/or Scopus and/or Google Scholar that tracks the journal since its first publication.

Prize

The prize items for each best-cited paper include a certificate presented to the corresponding author and 1,000 USD (after tax) to be transferred to the corresponding author's bank account.

Funding

This award is funded by Ton Duc Thang University.

Eligibility

All research and review papers published in JAEC in the past three years are eligible for the award, except the winning papers from previous years.

The paper will be selected by the journal award committee according to the following criteria:

  • Number of citation

The award will be announced in April every year.
